Spybot Scanning slow in admin mode

Hello,
How come my brothers laptop scanning for spybot is so slow when he's in admin, but not slow in guest???? I can't seem to figure this one out. It's an XP system, and toshiba laptop with an intel processor (unfortunately).

It's possible that Spybot is scanning more files when logged in as an admin. As a guest user, he wouldn't have as many files that would be listed as "his".
