unknown music extension

I have downloaded a music file with rbs as the extension, I don't know what software can cope with it!

Please help!

Looks like a Real Player streaming file. Not sure it can be opened locally....

so apart from RealPlayer, do you know other softwares can play this type of file?
I have just visited a website which supports RBS files.

Offhand, no I dont, sorry. I despise Real Player (the entire company) to the point that I won't even try using it, and avoid the files it creates. I've had to fix so many systems that this junk has blown up it isn't funny.

At any rate, to my understanding this is a streaming file, and requires the real server to stream it. Have you tried asking the site owner?
