Bear, I have three discs: the first one is the XP, the second one the XP SP1, and the last one the XP SP2.

Unfoftunately, the three discs can not be identified as there are no labels.

How can I know which one of them is exactly the dics that contains XP SP2.

I have to upgrade the current Windows to XP SP2.

Please help!

If they were legal XP disks, they would be clearly marked.

During the update process, an alert warned "...battery is not compatible with the Windows, you had better...press 'yes' to stop install the battery..."

What does it mean for that?
What will happen to my PC as I have skipped that step ?

I've never seen that error before. Install a battery? What sort of battery is it talking about?

It may be the system battery or UPS!

Never heard of a CMOS battery warning, and a backup battery can't be incompatible, AFAIK.

So, are there any terms that begins or ends with the word, 'battery' in PC world?

The only time I've ever heard of getting an incompatible battery warning is if this were a laptop. Could it be the update was intended for a laptop or incorrectly recognized your computer as one?
If that's the case, I doubt it will cause you any problems.
