View Full Version : Ntfs partion in windows 98se.

I need to delete an ntfs partion on windows 98 se i just installed 98 and now i need to kill the ntfs partion the ntfs partion had windows xp on it at one time another thing i would like to know i had a lot of viruses on the ntfs could the fat 32 partion get those viruses? I do know how to use dos prompt and fdisk but i can onley create partions on fdisk not delete i need help thx :D.

Describes your situation, I believe...

As for viruses traversing file systems..sure, why not? If the partition is visible to the virus, and it's made to propagate to partitions, theres nothing to prevent it (except maybe flaws in the code?).

Well! Win98se, how many partitions are in your PC?
Mine got one with 5 GB.

Just insert the FDisk before turn the PC on, and run the program.
It comes with Chinese and English Version. Its interface is also easily to use!

btw, I have lost the link for FDisk, where did you get the copy?
(I may have a copy in my another PC)

Nah i just decided to use a 3rd party becase fdisk can delete it...but it wouldent -_- its all good now fdisk has never fialed before though...bah.
