Monitor Filter

My old PC Monitor is a CRT. To protect my eyes from harmful radiation, I have brought a Monitor Filter from a PC store.

The monitor filter has got two faces, to help you understand my problem, let me describe the two sides of the Monitor Filter as follows:

Side A: is of darker color, but allows you to look through it.
Side B: just like a mirror, you can see your image in it.


it was just a careless mistake, I have broken it into several pieces; :hammer3:
but fortunately, I have fixed it. Now what make me so confused is that I don't know which sides (A or B) of the Monitor Filter should face the PC.

Please help me if you could! XD

What good would this do you if you saw your reflection instead of the monitor?

As for the monitor emitting harmful radiation? To the best of my knowledge, all they emit is light. Yes, radiation (light "radiates" from the source..not to be confused with gamma radiation or similar), but not harmful, AFAIk.

That seems to be a common sense, but you know I just need advice to ensure what I have done was correct.

I suggest wearing a stylish tin foil hat, like the rest of us do. Keeps out the radiation, and looks great too. :D
Go for the extra money, and get one with a propeller on it.
