I created a document/form of sorts and I would like to re-use the form by typing the information into the blanks. When I attempt to do this...it of course screws up everything about my form...in other "word"s..my planets get all out of alignment and is kinda screwin' up my universe...of course I realize that being a novice I can expect planetary collision, But, does anyone know of a magic button that would cement my form so that is doesn't revolve around my text? Thank you...Perlz

Hiya Perlz. ;)
How about this?
Prevent users from making changes to a form

Before you distribute a form that users will view and complete in Microsoft Word, you must protect it so that users can enter information only in the designated areas.

Note When you protect a document by using the following method, any information in form fields will be reset.

On the Tools menu, click Protect Document.
Click Forms.
To assign a password to the form so that users who know the password can remove the protection and change the form, type a password in the Password (optional) box. Users who don't know the password can still enter information in the form fields.
To protect the entire form, click OK.
To protect only parts of a form, those parts must be in separate sections. Click Sections, and then clear the check boxes of the sections you don't want to protect.

Hmm...got the email, but that's not the Word doc, but the contents pasted into the message. I think I see what the issue is from this, however. You've created lines to fill in information, it seems, but not actual form elements to be filled out. That's probably why it's not working.
Let me see what I can knock together for you to have a look at.

[EDIT]
Just sent you a simple test document, in which the form fields are the only thing you can edit (unless you unlock it). Let me know if that's what you had in mind.
