Bear, just thought I'd touch base and see what's up with you and the site.
Been busy again, got a boat-load of new teachers (10) at the school. To add joy to the mix, they bring all the wonderfuil behaviors that K's are so famous for...stubbornness, ethnocentricity, a MASSIVE overdose of nationalistic pride, (and an infuriating inability to distinguish pride from honor), a complete lack of familiarity with the concept of logic, an inability to deal effectively with Westerners, a desire for results without doing the necessary steps to achieve them, ...ya know, all the things that make life so interesting....
Anyway, I'm still here, plugging away...our computer lab at the school looks like Homestead, Florida after Andrew hit...9 out of 25 computers alive, cases (corpses) strewn around like dead leaves...I installed an AV program (which I've mentioned here), on a few to keep them chuggin' along, as the school thinks it's OK to let unsupervised kids loose on the 'net without a firewall...(sigh)
Anyway, I pay off my truck at the end of the month, (one of the big reasons I'm still at the same school) and after that, maybe I'll look for something else for next year. I'm hypertensive to begin with, and these people have me up to a pack a day...not good!! some ethnicities just wear me out...
