ok so for the past 3 days i have gottin the maple story client to download i think like 4 times and all of the other times it keeps timeing they are korian servers and mapletip is not so what now?? oh by the way whean it downloads and try to install well the first time drive d has ad 6 bad clusters guess whayt maple story was on one of te bad clusters yay not... had to delete dablo 2 on drive c to get this thing in the other 3 times i get this error unpacking files please obtian another yet it downloads on moms computer fine but moms computer overheat whean i try to play games on it needs a new cpu fan... 209286 KB? A 204MB (approx) download could choke lots of systems. What sort of internet connection are you using? Was it cable or DSL?
I didn't complete the download, but I'm guessing the size is causing the issues you're having, along with the failing drive. If you have a drive that's showing bad sectors, it's time to think about saying goodby to it...especially if the sectors are increasing or growing in size.

Sounds like the self-extractor is broken on it, as that's the only thing that would give that sort of error. Either the download is corrupted, or the file itself is faulty.
If you can get it to run on Mom's system, and the systems are connected via router (or whatever sort of LAN you had), just download via Mom's, and move it to yours via LAN...and install once it's moved.

You need to allow file sharing on the machine that has the file you want, and then drag the file into the shared folder. Using the machine you want to use the file on, connect to the host system (by using the "network neighborhood" icon, and navigate to it), and grab the file, placing it on your system.

both of theam dont have the network icon just mine is that a problem???

As I've explained, you need to be on the host computer (Mom's), and allow file sharing.

Is this it? If you have WinRAR, you can grab it in pieces and reassemble...or grab the full distro, I suppose.

wait mabe you know if it really is the vid card here it gets really blurry and than cracks up in parts and fresses i think it is direct x with this card what about you??

i have what is reqired but i dont think my vid card is as it should hmm i think it is at least 64 mb im still trying to figure out what is going on here i think it is my vid card but what if it is not hmmm i cant seem to think what else it could be...
